BLENDING FOR SHADING

The rose petals use blended threads in shades of pink to create much more subtle shade variations than solid thread shades alone can achieve.

BACKSTITCHING FOR DETAIL: Take a look at the details on the building such as the shutters and window frame. These are worked in a single strand of backstitch in order to capture detail.

FRENCH KNOTS FOR TEXTURE: French knots have been used for a dimensional touch that is precise on areas such as the curtain patterns, shutter braces and shutter hinges.
