“Vietnamese workers surrounded by incense sticks in Quang Phu Cau, near Hanoi, Vietnam. The bamboo bundles are arranged on the ground on sunny days so they dry out. To make the sticks, the bamboo is split in two and then coloured red, purple or yellow.”

“I took this picture at Hon Yen Beach, Phu Yen Province, in Vietnam – one of the most beautiful beaches in my country. This is the moment the local fishermen start work. Each time they release their nets, it creates a unique pattern – on this occasion, it resulted in the shape of a heart. I like to see this as a heart full of hope that the fishermen will pull in a net full of anchovies. I feel lucky that I can showcase the beauty of Vietnam through my photography.”
