‘Makerversity: Designing for the Real World’, Somerset House

A community of engineers, entrepreneurs and artists, Makerversity is a staple of London’s design scene, and a catalyst for major startups. For the platform’s 10th birthday, Somerset House is holding an exhibition showcasing the process behind its disruptive design. 1 November-4 February 2024 (somersethouse.org.uk).

‘Women in Revolt!’, Tate Britain

This much-needed exhibition uncovers the work of more than 100 overlooked female artists in 1970s Britain, including See Red Women’s Workshop (pictured). Celebrating those ‘who were largely left out of the artistic narratives of the time,’ it’ll explore their contributions to women’s liberation. 8 November7 April 2024 (tate.org.uk).

‘Tomorrow.Building World Congress 2023’, Barcelona, Spain

Swot up on the future of our infrastructure at this three-day summit, where you’ll dive into the world of sustainable architecture and green cities. The programme covers everything from design technology to smart buildings, so don’t forget your notebook. 7-9 November (tomorrow-building.com).

‘Renoir in Guernsey, 1883’, Art for Guernsey
