Her on-set playlist fuelled her confidence: a swaggering mix of Flora Matos, Bad Bunny and Rihanna. The latter holds a special place in Rosa’s heart. Last year, she walked in her Fenty x Puma show and met the music mogul-turned-beauty billionaire. ‘Rihanna’s fearlessness, creativity, and dedication to inclusivity have motivated me to push boundaries and shown me that fashion isn’t just about clothes; it’s about self-expression, empowerment and making a statement,’ she says.

It’s impossible for award-winning columnist and Guardian commissioning editor Eva Wiseman to choose her favourite interview. ‘I loved visiting artist Sophie Calle at home in Paris; she showed me her taxidermied giraffe and told me about performing illegal abortions in her youth,’ she says. She also has fond memories of a lockdown Zoom with Kate Winslet – ‘my bored daughter kept pushing notes through the door’. But when it comes to the writers that she loves, nobody comes close to Miranda July. ‘She continues to inspire me, shock me – and make me hoot.’
