AUDEMARS PIGUET

“We’ve had a lot of activity in 2022, starting with the anniversary of the Royal Oak in April. Fifty years on, the Royal Oak continues to innovate subtly. A 39mm stainless steel anniversary model, which at 8.1mm thick represents the first ‘Jumbo’ in history to be equipped with a self-winding ultra-thin flying tourbillon movement, Calibre 2968, measuring just 3.4mm thick and adorned with a beautiful combination of traditional and contemporary hand-crafted decorations.”

BELL & ROSS

“Our major news is the launch of the BR-X5 and the entrance of the brand into the world of time instruments equipped with manufacture movement as a core range. Regarding the design, a pillar of Bell & Ross DNA, it has been expressed on the BR-X5 and on limited editions such as Radiocompass, Multimeter or new designs for partnership limited edition, like Alpine with BR A522. The marque has continued its development and continues to grow, 2022 being a pretty dynamic year so far, as it has been for all of luxury horology. The lesson moving forward is to pursue the strategy set and focus on our brand pillars: the timeless instruments with the BR 03 range, the contemporary instruments with the BR 05, and the futuristic instruments with BR-X5 and the entrance in the manufacture watches with the latest releases.”

BLANCPAIN

One of the focuses at Blancpain this year has been on two specific materials — red gold and grade 23 titanium — which have both been employed in new iterations of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe and a smaller edition of the Air Command chronograph.
