Each month, ex-cop and psychic Nicky Alan teams up with her spirit guides to investigate an unsolved myster y. She became a real-life princess, but for Grace Kelly there was no happy ever after

A beautiful woman recklessly steers her sleek, open-top car as it hurtles around deadly hairpin bends. With her blonde hair blowing in the wind, she is laughing, seemingly unconcerned about the dangers of the road that snakes through the hills of Provence. Her handsome passenger, however, is less confident that they won’t plunge over a precipice to their deaths at any second.

The woman was the Oscar-winning actress, Grace Kelly, and she was filming a car chase for the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock movie To Catch a Thief. Her travelling companion and co-star was the suave Cary Grant.

It was for this reason that she employed a chauffeur. So why did she decide to drive on that late summer’s day?

Her chauffeur tried to persuade her to let him drive. But Grace was insistent. There was no room for three people as the back seat was filled with luggage and draped with dresses.

The pair set off for the principality on the hazardous D37 road. As the car approached the notorious ‘Devil’s Curse’ bend, a truck driver coming in the opposite direction reported seeing the vehicle swerving erratically at an alarming speed.
