The start of a new year is always one of hope, and that is especially true in the garden. Our bulbs are all in, thriving underground in the cold weather, ready to emerge in spring, while our perennials and evergreens look after themselves, too. We make plans, design borders in our heads and look forward to a year ahead with a garden looking just how we want it.
