The DP World Tour season has wrapped up, the PGA Tour is winding down, and everyone is talking about when Tommy Fleetwood will shed his unofficial title as the best player without a Major. But before we get into all that, it’s time to hand out some awards which recognise the weird, the wonderful and the downright absurd stories and moments that made golf so gloriously unpredictable this year. We can’t promise any of these categories will be featured in the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year, but we’re confident that the next seven pages will be far more interesting!
