Want to pack a real punch with your bathroom scheme? This bold coral tiled enclosure created by Samantha Todhunter Design showcases how to inject colour and interest without dominating the space, by using the tiles in a contained way.

Enter the fold

If you’re working with a tight alcove shower enclosure, or a compact bathroom in general, a bi-folding shower door is a great way to save space as it won’t encroach on the bathroom’s footprint and sits flush to the rest of the room.

Take a seat

A stylish yet practical addition to your bathroom, a built-in seating nook provides a comfortable spot reminiscent of a hammam to sit and relax, as well as providing an additional surface for toiletries.

Style a designer look

Create a high-end hotel vibe by incorporating a generous wet room-style shower into your bathroom scheme. Opt for a low-profile tray, plus on-trend fluted glass panels and brass detailing for that luxe touch to elevate your look.

Cut some corners

For smaller bathrooms, it’s sometimes better to opt for a corner-entry enclosure as it offers a bit more flexibility if you’re looking to include both a shower and bath in the same room. It’ll also provide some extra space getting in and out of the shower as opposed to a door that folds inwards.

Get the best of both

When you’re tight on space in the main bathroom, a shower-bath is a good compromise. That doesn’t mean it can’t look sophisticated – opt for an elegant shower riser system with an exposed valve and a large showerhead – a heritage style adds a more luxurious spa-like feel.
