1. Take two ready-made bamboo or hula hoops roughly the same size, or make your own by bending twigs into a circular shape and securing with string or some wire.
2. Attach four equal lengths of fishing wire at four points around one hoop, then bring the ends together above the hoop and knot them in a central point. Use this knot to hang the hoop from a hook, pole or tree branch.
3. Take the second hoop and attach four slightly shorter lengths of wire at four points around it. Attach the loose ends to the first (now hanging) hoop, so that it suspends directly below it.
4. Wind a string of outdoor LED battery-operated micro lights (£7.99 for 50, Lights4fun) around both hoops, finishing by running the lead to the battery box upwards, so that it can be hung out of the way, above the chandelier.
