HAVE YOU HEARD of TikTok trend #BobDylanCore? It’s the young people’s modern spin on the young people’s ancient habit of wearing teeny, tiny, too lightweight jackets on way-too-cold days. It’s inspired by That Pic of a young Bob Dylan, looking cool but terribly cold in a brown suede ‘shacket’ on a bitter New York day. It is relevant now, given the average Instagram influencer’s lack of regard for punting ’fits that can be worn outside of the house (no pants? Puddle trousers? All friggin’ white?) but most especially now when it is (not sure you’ve noticed) so. F** king. Cold.
