As the new series gets underway, the villa mates reveal all
GEORGIA STEEL: ‘I’d feel comforted if Toby was in the villa’
Love Island: All Stars isn’t Georgia Steel’s second rodeo in the villa, it’s actually her third. The “I’m loyal” queen starred on Love Island Games last year, where she crossed paths, albeit briefly, with 2021 star Toby Aromolaran. And Georgia, 25, tells heat they never had the opportunity to “develop”, revealing, “If he came into the villa, I think I’d feel comforted a bit because he already knows me to a certain level. That could be a nice little thing.”
The beauty influencer was just 19 when she appeared in series four in 2018. She left with Sam Bird on her arm, but they split after three months together. Georgia admits, “The worst thing is being coupled up with someone you’re not compatible with on the outside, but you feel the pressure to stay with them. I’ve learned that, so maybe I’ll have that with me when I pick my partners.”
CHRIS: ‘Margot will be watching All Stars’
He first shot to fame on Love Island back in 2019, but, more recently, Chris Taylor is a name associated with some Hollywood heavyweights. Yep, after Chris’ brief cameo in the hit blockbuster Barbie, he’s now being spoken about in the same breath as Margot Robbie. And, apparently, it’s all thanks to the ITV dating show. The 33 year old told heat, “I’ve very recently been in the Barbie film for about 1.75 seconds –Itimed it –and that opportunity came about because Idid the show the first time. It was ano-brainer to come back for All Stars. Part of me feels like Iowe ITV one for everything.”
Chris was hand-selected by Barbie herself, as Margot has admitted she’s been a huge fan of Love Island over the years. And Chris thinks she’ll be an avid viewer this time around. “I think she’ll watch,” he says. “I know she really likes the show and now there’s going to be various people she’s enjoyed watching over the seasons.”
DEMI: ‘I’m nervous no one is going to fancy me’
Demi Jones isn’t coy when we ask her if there have been any secret hook-ups with Love Islanders from years gone by. “There have been people in the past –acouple of cheeky snogs,” she says with agrin. “It will be interesting to see if they’re on the show and if that attraction is still there.”
