It seems the footballer has finally run out of lives with his long-suffering wife
She’s been through the absolute wringer over the past few years, striving to forgive and forget her husband’s countless indiscretions, and repeatedly taking him back when friends and family told her not to. But last week, it was confirmed Annie Kilner had put the kibosh on her relationship with teenage sweetheart Kyle Walker once and for all, after learning he’d fathered asecond child with influencer Lauryn Goodman.
Taking to Instagram, the 31 year old –who shares three young children with the footballer –told followers, “Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.” It was also revealed last week that Annie was heavily pregnant with their fourth child.
But while the long-suffering WAG didn’t go so far as to confirm they were getting a divorce, insiders tell us that Annie is now consulting with law yers. And who could blame her, following amaelstrom of surprise revelations and shock betrayals? According to sources, the pair were already on shaky ground last year, after Lauryn –who conceived her first child, son Kairo, now three, with Kyle in 2019, while he and Annie were on abreak –announced she’d given birth to a daughter in July. At the time, she teased that the father was afootballer, prompting Kyle to strenuously deny any involvement.
“He told Annie over and over she never had to worry about Lauryn or him cheating again,” an insider close to the estranged couple, who have been together for 13 years and are parents to Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and five-year-old Reign, tells heat. “He knew just how much having another child broke her heart and upset the kids.”
But, despite his strong denials, the truth finally came out, after Lauryn reached out to Annie days after Christmas, showing her aDNA test to prove that Kyle, 33, was the father of both her children. Annie duly kicked him out of their family home in Cheshire –something she’s also done in the past. But while he has always previously returned to the fold, insiders say that this time is different, as doing the one thing he swore he’d never do again is, “the ultimate betrayal to both Annie and their kids”.
Meanwhile, continued revelations surrounding Kyle and Lauryn’s secret affair have only fuelled Annie’s certainty that she and her husband are past the point of no return, despite her previous efforts to keep the family together.
