Beckham, the four-part Netflix documentary that focussed on David’s football career and his marriage to Victoria, has spawned content and conversations well beyond the realm of Netflix. We’ve laughed at the couple’s Uber Eats ads playing on comical jibes from the series, scrolled through TikTokers recreating their kitchen dance to Islands In The Stream, and even contemplated splashing out on a “My Dad Had A Rolls-Royce” tee.

And Brand Beckham’s expansion is showing no signs of dwindling, as we’re told that, following David’s documentary domination, he could be passing the baton to his wife, who fans have been calling to star in her own show. As the fashion designer prepares to turn 50, our source says that she is poised to take the hot seat for a tell-all series of her own.

“For Vic, David’s documentary was a bit of a risky gamble and she was quite nervous about doing it,” says our insider. “But the success of the series has also given her a confidence boost, and she’s feeling a lot bolder about ideas to do her own. Some people have said they would like to have seen a little more exploration of who she was in David’s series. For her, it feels like he had his moment with Beckham – and she’s 100 per cent supportive of that – but there’s been a realisation that she also has a story to tell.”

Since shooting to fame with the Spice Girls in the 1990s and building up her eponymous fashion brand, Victoria, 49, has often been the victim of cruel narratives questioning her abilities. She’s been targeted for “becoming rich on very little talent”, with many critics questioning whether she could make a name for herself in the fashion and beauty world. But after countless reports that her business was in the red – and often being bailed out by David – it was reported in December that Victoria was “so happy” that her brand has started to make a profit. The positive news also came just over a year since she made her “dream” debut during Paris Fashion Week, an opportunity she described as a “big deal”.
