With Celeb Big Brother and now the return of Celebrity Bake Off, the gods of entertainment are really spoiling us. As always, the famous amateur bakers –with varying degrees of skill and talent –are facing the judgment of Prue Leith and Paul Holly wood to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. So, it’s all for a great cause.
STAR POWER
While we love regular GBBO, there’s something particularly enjoyable about the celebrity version, where many of the stars are clueless in the kitchen and just there to have a laugh – plus Paul and Prue are practically giddy.
In the past, we’ve seen Paul compliment a delighted Tom Allen on his crack (shortbread, people); then-contestant A lison Hammond hilariously losing the oven door (Google it); and Lee Mack flirting with Prue, then grating his fingers and squirting fruit juice in his eye.
