BARRY & SABRINA’S HARD LAUNCH
They’ve been teasing their relationship for weeks, but Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter have finally confirmed they’re dating by hard launching at the Oscars on 10 March.
Well, if you’re going to do it, do it at the most star-studded event of the year.
Posing together for a cheeky photo at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, in which they both covered the bottom halves of their faces, fans were delighted by the fact Barry, 31, was sporting a Taylor Swift Eras Tour friendship bracelet bearing Sabrina’s name. Maybe he bought the accessory after watching the Feather hitmaker, 24, open for Tay-Tay in Singapore earlier this month.
Sources at the party later confirmed the duo were “inseparable, with Barry openly grabbing Sabrina’s butt any time he trailed behind her”.
Sabrina sported a sheer black Tory Burch dress, while Barry wore a tweed jacket – later spotted draped over Sabrina’s shoulders – over a white tank and black pants.
Although the pair didn’t walk the red carpet together, Barry – who shares son Brando, one, with ex-girlfriend Alyson Sandro, who he reportedly split from in 2023 after his partying became too much for her to handle – was filmed gazing adoringly at his partner and joking with photographers that he was “distracted”. Fans compared his doting facial expressions to when he recently watched Sabrina perform in Singapore. After videos of him hiding under his baseball cap in the audience, practically blushing at her risqué verses, went viral, viewers commented, “Oh, that man love LOVES her.” Then, after leaving the stage, the former Disney Channel star was seen giving Barry a lingering hug.
Sabrina and the Saltburn star were first linked back in December, when they were spotted going for dinner in LA after meeting months earlier at the Givenchy spring/summer 2024 runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
While Barry has reportedly been single since July, Sabrina was most recently linked to Shawn Mendes after they left Miley Cyrus’ album launch party together in March 2023. Prior to that the singer was apart of the alleged love triangle between Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett, reportedly becoming the focus of Olivia’s hit track Drivers License as a result.
