Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have “reactivated” their divorce proceedings – with an insider revealing they appear “determined to torture each other”.
It’s been reported the couple have failed to reach a child custody and property settlement in private, leading Game Of Thrones star Sophie to file paperwork requesting a judge rule who gets guardianship of daughters Willa, three, and Delphine,20 months.
After the Miami court documents were released, a rep for singer Joe played down the request, saying it was “a legal formality”, and adding, “The couple continue to negotiate an amicable resolution.”
Since their split last September, both have moved on with other people – Sophie with do aristocratPeregrine Pearson, and Joe with model Stormi Bree. However, our source says this new domestic bliss doesn’t mean there’s much chanceof harmony between the former couple. “It’s in danger of becoming the divorce battle from hell,” we’re told. “They’re both annoyed that each of them has managed to move on so quickly – it’s made them even more bitter. Sophie is content with Peregrine and is happy to let Joe see that, and Joe can be just as petty. Everyone’s begging them to grow up, but as soon as anyone says anything, they both get incredibly defensive.”
