It’s been just over a year since Chloe Sims’ perfectly manicured hands waved goodbye to Essex to start a new life in Hollywood – and in a plush Beverly Hills apartment, no less. And fans of the OG TOWIE star, 42, won’t be surprised to learn that the reality veteran, who is a single mum to 19-year-old daughter Madison, is smashing it Stateside. Not only did she just land a seven-figure deal with Netflix to air her Kardashian-esque reality show House Of Sims, but, following her tumultuous two-year on/off romance with former co-star Pete Wicks, which ended in 2021, Chloe is now dating again. Last month, she was spotted in an LA nightclub snogging Miles Richie, 29, the son of music legend Lionel, and the brother of Nicole and Sofia.
The pair are reported to have been “sexting” since and have exchanged flirty Instagram emojis about, erm, tartar sauce? But Chloe is remaining tight-lipped for now, so instead, heat chatted to her about all things LA…
You’re living your best LA life – have you had any funny or embarrassing celeb encounters?
You name them, I’ve met them. But I don’t want to embarrass myself by saying too much as I want to keep being invited to parties! I did accidentally say, “Hi, you alright?” to Amanza Smith from Selling Sunset at a party, like I knew her. She just looked really confused.
When I realised what I’d done, I was mortified.
How is the dating scene in LA – has your type changed since moving there?
I just want to find my person and be happy. I think my husband will be from New York. I seem to have a vibe with New Yorkers. At a push, maybe Texas, as I don’t mind the cowboy vibe, either. I’m not interested in these sporty guys who want to take me hiking on the first date and hang out at the gym.
What food are you craving that you can’t get in the US?
Gravy and chips from the fish and chip shop. They don’t exist here. Their fries are skinny with barely any potato. And chocolate – American chocolate is disgusting! All the condiments, like salad cream and Nando’s sauce,
