Which do you prefer – stand-up or TV?
Oh, that’s really hard. I love doing TV, but then I go back on stage and I’m like, “Oh, I’m a stand-up!” It’s a different level of connection, with people who have genuinely come out to see you. You have that moment of interaction because it’s live and you can’t play it back. You just live in that moment, which is beautiful.
What do the Loose Women fans think when they see you on stage?
It's so funny. When I say anything saucy or a bit different and they laugh, I’m thinking, “I bet a lot of you are thinking, ‘She’s not like that on Loose Women!’”
What do you like to wear on stage?
I’ll wear statement outfits, usually something black because I feel sexier. I like a see-through top or leather. It’s about the power dynamics on the stage for me. It’s my own platform.
What about on TV?
If I’m on daytime, I still bring the sexiness. If I’ve got a top or dress and it’s a little bit low, I’m like “Mm-hmm, don’t do it up too much, girl!”

It’s all about championing women to feel their best, and to have clothes that represent them and make them feel amazing.
How has your attitude towards fashion evolved over the years?
I definitely embrace bolder colours and dressing to my shape more now. And I definitely embrace the fact that I have the choice. Before, if you have kids, you’d think, “I’m a mum, I’ve just got to wear mum clothes”. And now it’s like, “No, I can wear anything I want to wear! I’ll go on holiday and wear a bikini if needs be.”
You’re up for a BAFTA for Loose Women And Men next month. What are you going to wear to that?
