Fashion aficionado, wellness guru and homeware brand founder, Sveva Clavarino has created a platform designed to help everyone find happiness and self-care

Sveva Clavarino belongs to the highest echelons of Italian society and, like her influencer sister Giorgina, she loves fashion. But she’s chosen a different focus professionally. Very much a believer in looking after oneself inside and out, Sveva has launched her own holistic wellness platform, designed to help anyone who wants to lead a happier, more fulfilled and conscious life. Here, on a visit to London, and dressed in some beautiful seasonal designs, she shows all the serenity of someone who’s found purpose in life.

Sveva, you’ve both drawn on your own experience and undertaken in-depth training in your subject. How would you define your expertise?

I’m a nutrition-based integrative health coach and founder of the holistic wellness digital platform The Wellness Reporter.

What led you to create it?

During the pandemic, I realised how precious our time is, and how important it is to feel physically and mentally on form. I’d left my job in the fashion industry and was looking for something I loved to do every day.

And I found it in the wellness world. How do you go about helping people? By guiding them through a journey of self-healing and self-love, using coaching tools such as yoga, nutrition, meditation workshops, detox retreats and unique travel experiences – as well as through different events around the world.

Why do you think we’re so concerned these days with holistic wellbeing?

Perhaps because we live at a very fast pace, with a lot of pressures both socially and at work, so we’re in danger of burning out. Depression and stress rates have risen dramatically. We need to take care of ourselves if we’re going to stay feeling healthy and happy, even when the going gets tough.

How do you apply this to your own life?

I’ve always had a self-care routine to help me to relax and recharge my energy after exhausting days at work. I meditate and walk first thing every morning, I eat nutritious food and spend quality time with friends and family. I travel to the places I love most in the world and always ma
