Our new columnist brings the summer vibes with gardens to inspire and a must-stay organic inn

British Summer Time is upon us and with it comes longer days and heightened energy levels with the return, we all hope, of some warm sunshine. It is time to make the most of the weather that brings with it the chance to make happy memories.

Increased daylight hours means larger step counts from getting about on foot with a podcast for company; try Ffern’s (organic scent made in Somerset) monthly offering, guiding you through the changing seasons.

I am excited to return to the magical fields of Glastonbury once more, as well as heading to Cross The Tracks festival to listen to artists such as Erykah Badu and Ama Lou. I am also looking forward to taking the train to the seaside to explore Hastings and Margate, whilst sheltering from the rays in my MONC sunglasses made from plant-based plastic.

Gearing up for wedding season, I am hoping to dress up in By Rotation’s ample supply of colourful dresses to rent, as well as welcoming the return of sandal season with freshly-painted toes using Earthy nail polish made from non-toxic, natural ingredients. Wishing you many a golden hour with friends, feeling the warmth of the sun on your back.
