I t was a family affair in New York City as Florence Pugh brought a touch of glamour to the black carpet along with her parents and grandmother, who joined her for the star-studded screening of her new film A Good Person at the Metrograph cinema in Manhattan.

The 27-year-old actress looked sensational in an eye-catching Valentino dress with a daring semi-sheer backless and sleeveless necktie bodice, reminiscent of the tuxedo shirt worn by Jennifer Beals in 1983 film Flashdance. To complete her look, Florence teamed the gown, which had a floor-skimming black skirt, with towering heels and jewellery by Tiffany & Co.

Rocking the Big Apple, Florence’s proud family had dressed for the occasion, too. Her mother, former dancer Deborah Mackin, sported chic white trousers and a cream-coloured coat with a red floral design and a black trimmed collar, while her father, restaurateur Clinton Pugh, looked dapper in a brown suit.

The Don’t Worry Darling star’s grandmother, whom she affectionately calls “Granzo Pat”, also turned out to give her support in a striking black-and-white coat bearing a distinctive chain print.

The Oscar-nominated actress, who enjoys a close relationship with her family, was seen helpfully fastening one of her mother’s necklaces and leaning in to kiss her grandmother on the forehead.
