ELIZABETH HURLEY LOOKS GOOD ON PAPER DURING INDULGENT BIRTHDAY WEEKEND
Actress, model, swimwear designer – Elizabeth Hurley has always been the ultimate triple threat. But on her 58th birthday, she took it to the next level by partying with guests including two life-sized cardboard cut-outs of herself (left).
Not that there was anything one-dimensional about the celebrations, which took place over two days at her Herefordshire home and featured birthday cakes (below left) and plenty of wine. Elizabeth posted images on Instagram showing her holding hands with her “flat-mates” (one a facsimile of her appearance at a charity ball for breast cancer in Madrid last year, the other from the 2019 Rocketman premiere) surrounded by friends and family including her older sister Kate and cuddling her labrador Shivraj. “Family, friends & doggies – perfect weekend,” Elizabeth’s caption read.
Another photo (above) showed the star of The Royals embracing son Damian. Famously close, they have teamed up professionally, with Elizabeth joining the cast of Strictly Confidential, Damian’s first feature film as writer-director. By doing so, she was fulfilling a promise she made to him when he was ten. “Mama dropped everything… to help,” Damian said in December. “Working together was a dream.”
JO WOOD DIVERSE INTERESTS ON SHOW AT FASHION WEEK
As a former model and founder of an organic wellness range, Jo Wood is keen to champion natural beauty in all its forms, which is why she bagged a front-row seat at this year’s Models of Diversity catwalk presentation (right) during London Fashion Week (LFW).
Jo, 68, has been involved with the charity, which promotes greater representation of all groups in the media and on the catwalk, for a number of years, introducing its LFW fashion show in 2016.
Attending the presentation – held at London’s Freemasons’ Hall and featuring former model Jilly Johnson and actress Francine Lewis – Jo was joined by chef Jameson Stocks (together left), who posted images and clips on Instagram, writing: “Everyone who was involved in @modelsofdiversity smashed it.”
After reportedly being introduced by a mutual friend, Jo and Jameson have been photographed together at a number of high-profile events in recent weeks.
However, a source told the London Evening Standard the pair were not dating, but were instead “good friends who share a mutual interest in progression, change and innovation”.
