TELLS OF HER LOVE FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON AS SHE KICKS OFF CHRISTMAS
A twinkling 60ft Christmas tree wasn’t the only thing lighting up London’s Covent Garden last week: there was a sprinkling of star power, too, as Nicole Scherzinger helped switch on the piazza’s famous Christmas lights.
The actress and former Pussycat Doll is currently spending most of her evenings on stage nearby in the West End, but she was only too happy to pop over to mark the beginning of the festive season.
“Christmas cheer has arrived – it’s time to believe,” said Nicole, who is winning plaudits for her role as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard.
She added: “Christmas is my favourite time of year, and while I’m in Sunset Boulevard at the Savoy Theatre, I’m so blessed to call Covent Garden my home.
“London is such a magical place to be for the holiday season and it’s an honour to turn on the lights to illuminate the Christmas spirit of the most beautiful new Covent Garden decorations.”

Hosting the evening’s proceedings, which were held in partnership with charity Save the Children, were Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo.
