We’re searching for completed projects across the UK as we launch The Daily Telegraph Homebuilding & Renovating Awards 2023

Have you recently completed a self-build, renovation, conversion or extension project? Then we want to hear from you! The Daily Telegraph Homebuilding & Renovating Awards have been showcasing and celebrating Britain’s best homes for over 30 years.

This year we’re looking for exceptional homeowners who have gone above and beyond to create their dream homes tailored for their unique lifestyles. Houses of every size, shape and budget are welcome in the categories (see page 31). Previous winners include a barn extension and conversion for under £90k, an eco self-build family home and a DIY renovation bursting with interior design tricks.

The Awards don’t just put amazing design in the spotlight, but highlight the hard work and determination from the builders, architects, contractors and DIYers who make individual and interesting homes possible. What better way to celebrate your build and thank the people involved?

One of the shortlisted projects will be chosen by a public vote to win our prestigious Readers’ Choice Award and one will be selected by our panel of expert judges to win Home of the Year 2023 and £1,000 of John Lewis vouchers.

It takes just a couple of minutes to enter online — plus it’s free! We can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to…

HERE’S HOW TO ENTER YOUR PROJECT

Submitting a project into the Awards is easy to complete and free! Simply complete the entry form at www.homebuilding.co.uk/ news/awards. The closing date for entering the Awards is 20 April 2023. The project (a self-build, renovation or extension) must have been finished within three years, or be at least very nearly complete, in order to qualify for the competition. Entries need to include:

● Floorplans (before and after for renovation and extensions, where possible)

● At least two ‘before’ photographs, where relevant

● Five to 10 interior images (living room, kitchen, bedrooms etc)

● At least one exterior photograph. Shortlisted projects may be visited in person by our Awards panel and will be featured both in the magazine and online, so you must be prepared for you and your home to be photographed. Some winners will also gain coverage in The Daily Telegraph.
