Homes and Gardens - UK Magazine

As you reAd through this issue of Homes & Gardens, you will notice that we have refreshed and redesigned the contents and look of the magazine. This invigorating process, which felt akin to having a spring clean at home, began with us taking an in-depth look at all our features to assess how much they delivered. The merits of each page were questioned and we considered whether it should stay, was there anything missing and how we could improve it. At the heart of all of this was you, the reader. We have taken note of all your thoughts and comments and have woven your requests into our pages. The result, I feel, is a richer, more varied and more interesting read. One feature, however, that always seems to stand the test of time is our wonderful House Clinic column (page 148), which is researched and written by Celia Rufey. Even in this fast-paced era of the internet, she still manages to surprise me with her ability to unearth small UK companies that are creating fantastic products or providing brilliant services. Celia’s working relationship with Homes & Gardens reaches back many years so, with her vast interiors knowledge, she is someone I always listen to. It’s contributors like Celia that lie at the very heart of Homes & Gardens and with their help we hope to bring you a magazine that uplifts and informs, but ultimately is a pure joy to read.
