WOOD WORKS
Ercol has partnered with Grown in Britain on two of its best-loved designs, the Pebble nest of tables, £850, and Marino chair (shown), £1,650, in British ash. A New Seat at the Table, launched at Clerkenwell Design Week, follows the journey from woodland to sawmill to the Ercol factory and on to the consumer. The partnership will support a lasting legacy for British forests by driving demand for sustainable homegrown timber.
DESIGN DUO
Renowned designer Henry Holland and fashion icon Paul Smith collaborate in a new partnership. Henry’s ceramics, crafted using the traditional Japanese Nerikomi technique of layering clay, span everything from tableware to lighting and sculptures. Handmade at his Hackney studio, these vibrant pieces celebrate the joy of colour and craft, with the clay being hand-dyed for the first time, drawing inspiration from Paul Smith’s iconic Signature Stripe.
