Dovain Studio, a brand committed to beauty, style and refinement, presents a meticulously curated collection of contemporary designs in lighting, upholstery and tables. A notable highlight is the Axis table in White Estremoz marble and leather, priced at €6.540, showcased in an interior design project by Laura Subero. The studio, led by visionary Spanish artist-designer Sergio Prieto, collaborates with architects and designers to customise measurements, colours and finishes.

NEW DIRECTION

Ginori 1735, renowned for its exquisite Florentine porcelain, now has a home range encompassing lamps, furniture and fabrics. Working with expert artisans and prestigious partners, Barovier&Toso and Rubelli, the brand has created Domus – acollection mixing contemporary design with traditional Italian craftsmanship. A highlight is the Optique coffee table, £3,000, featuring a mesmerising motif in leather inspired by the floor of the baptistry at San Giovanni in Florence.

We spoke to Christèle Ageorges of the newly opened Manufacture Royale de Lectoure hotel in the Occitanie region of southwestern France. @lamanufactureroyaledelectoure

The Manufacture Royale de Lectoure, an 18th-century historical monument and former leather tannery, reopened in 2022 as an accommodation and event venue. Built in 1754 by the architect Pierre Racine, it had been abandoned for 30 years before a complete renovation, which took four years to complete.

Having worked as a decorating stylist for many years, I have always had a fondness for soft, natural colours. When I launched this project, I drew inspiration from the hues of the local stone and surrounding landscape. The limestone here is white, gentle and radiant. The hills of Gers transition from soft green to golden blond, while the skies blush with pink at sunrise and sunset. These nuanced tones create an enchanting and luminous ambiance that complements the hotel’s setting. The mix of antique and modern pieces, combined with simplicity and refinement, adds to the overall charm.
