This statement seating was inspired by grand upholstered headboards. Further the impact of the upholstery by continuing the fabric with gondolas onto a pleated skirt, then add silk and velvet cushions with trimmings in hues picked out from the pattern to complete the sumptuous effect.

Team a sweet small-scale wallpaper with a seaside pattern repeat with bolder artwork along the same theme. To prevent the space from becoming twee, style it with simple elegant furniture and plain rather than nautical or ocean-esque accessories.
