INDULGE IN LUXE MATERIALS
Velvet is undeniably sumptuous. For an up-to-date take on the fabric, go beyond its traditional theatre-seat red version. The cinnamon hue shown here, for example, looks and feels relaxed but no less luxurious. Don’t be afraid to mix in a single velvet armchair or sofa beside upholstery made from leather, cotton or linen – just prepare for it to be the most in-demand seat in the house.

In the kitchen, natural wooden textures and hints of metallic will bring a sense of warmth.
