1 COLOUR DRENCHING

There aren’t many rules when it comes to taking one colour and applying it all over – from your walls and woodwork to furniture and accessories – but a really clever way to make it work is to vary the tones and shades. Here, rust reds pair beautifully with chocolate brown and blush pink highlights to create an elegant space that’s also cosy and enclosing. Romo has added 25 new colours to its Linara range of plain cotton/linen blends, now offering an astonishing 385 colourful fabrics suitable for any application you can think of, so it’s easier than ever to try this tonal look in your home.

2 SEASONAL SPRING DELIGHTS

As our gardens star t to come to life, it’s time to bring the new season indoors with subtle nods to Easter. Bunches of scented flowers, accessories in pretty shades and fabrics in unfussy checks and stripes have a simplicity that feels wonder fully nostalgic.

3 Cocolulu

During her fashion career working for Jimmy Choo, River Island and Ted Baker, Cocolulu founder Louise Pascal was surrounded by exciting fabrics and bold colours. But it was during lockdown, when she had time to experiment creatively, that she turned her passion for homeware into a business. Having grown up in Hong Kong and now married to a Frenchman, Louise values the ritual of sharing food and gathering round a table, and this is evident in her work, where her vibrant designs are hand-painted, embroidered and stitched onto pieces intended to set the scene for memorable, and colourful, dinner parties.
