WE THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
1 PARED-BACK INTERIORS
Any scheme that combines luxe and minimalism has our attention. These calm-inducing havens needn’t mean a space lacking in colour or detail – in fact, choosing a warm, earthy tone for the walls can create an impactful backdrop to show off bold sculptural designs and craft-like products. Look for streamlined ceramics, ribbed glassware and dyed cotton fabrics to achieve design harmony throughout.

2 A THRILLING COLLAB
It’s a big deal whenever iconic fabric and wallpaper manufacturer Clarke & Clarke launches a new collection, so we were excited to hear that it had teamed up with interior designer and author Breegan Jane to create a fantastic new collection that’s bound to become a modern classic.
Inspired by her travels and with a keen eye for detail, Breegan has captured the dramatic side of nature to create designs referencing African patterning and exotic plants as well as textured plains in a range of rich and enticing colourways.
3 TRANSFORM YOUR MOOD WITH COLOUR
A fresh lick of paint in a new shade can change not only a room but also the way you feel. Crown Paints has unveiled four new colour palettes based around emotions, feelings and emerging social trends, such as Solutions (above).
Expect to see joyful pops of primary brights and bold accents that will invigorate a space, as well as earthy neutrals and muted blues that will soothe and comfort – all curated by a panel of colour and interior experts.

5 DRESS YOUR WINDOW
Layering window treatments is a surefire way to brighten up a room while allowing you to adjust light levels. A plain or decorative sheer with a blind or curtain in a heavier fabric over the top will give privacy while letting in natural light. Layering is also a great way to introduce colour and pattern in an otherwise minimal decorating scheme.
