For obvious reasons there is a lot of love being shown for London and its iconic landmarks this Christmas. From glass Big Ben baubles, to embroidered Crown cushions, become a tourist in your own country and decorate your tree and home with odes to everything that makes our capital and rich heritage great. Not only do they make wonderful gifts for family near and far, they’ll remind you of a remarkable time in history and become collectables in their own right. Plus, cute corgis wearing crowns will always have a place on our tree!

W hat to do this month...

Is there anything more magical than a seasonal skate with family and friends? While the iconic SKATE at Somerset House is back from mid-November (this year in partnership with Moët & Chandon – cheers to that!), you can find an alfresco ice rink near you by checking your local authority website.

Fans of the Netflix show The Home Edit will know best friends Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin as the American duo that can turn chaos into calm and sort any space in your home (as well as the odd celeb home, too!) Their new podcast Best Friend Energy hears them dive into trending topics, vent frustrations and laugh at life’s absurdities.

Hosted by funny-gal Sara Pascoe, The Great British Sewing Bee returns to TV this winter for a Christmas Special. Watch in awe as talented sewists battle it out to create fabulous outfits that will inspire you to reach for your sewing machine and get crafty!
