Thank you for purchasing this latest issue of IYCF magazine.

As this edition hits the shelves there’ll only be a few days left until the clocks go back an hour. This invariably spells the end of my carp fishing overnighters for the year, as although I like to think that I’ll willingly head off to the lake after work and set up in the dark, in reality I know that I’ll most likely find an excuse not to!

At this time of year I’m happy to put the carp rods away for a few months and focus on different species and styles of fishing. I love to do a bit of perch fishing during the autumn and winter, both with lure and bait tactics, and as my local club water produced several good perch last winter I can’t wait to flick some big juicy lobworms out and have a go for them.
