USE A WINDOW FEEDER

1 THEY REDUCE HOW MUCH GROUNDBAIT YOU FEED

A cage feeder is a brilliant way of delivering lots of groundbait, but there are days when the fish respond better to particles. A window feeder is well sealed, with the loading hole being the biggest escape point. This allows you to pack lots of maggots and chopped worms in and cap the chamber with just a tiny pinch of groundbait to stop the contents wriggling out seconds after the feeder hits the deck

2 DISTANCE CASTING IS EASIER

A window feeder has a long and elongated body that is much more streamlined than a cage and that helps it to cut through the wind more easily. Using a window could help to add extra yards to your cast without having to change how much force you apply or anything else with regards to your technique

3 EVERY MORSEL GETS TO THE BOTTOM

Concentrating the fish on the deck will reduce the amount of time that it takes to get a bite, and window feeders protect the loosefeed so that it all gets to the bottom intact, with none of it being lost when the feeder hits the surface. This means that, rather than being spread throughout the water column, the fish in your swim will be rooting around close to where your hookbait is, reducing the amount of time it takes for the tip to wrap round
