New host Kiell Smith-Bynoe brings us a celebrity special of the crafting contest. Musician Toyah Willcox, and actors Kerry Godliman, Jessica Knappett and Hammed Animashaun are tasked with putting a twist on stockings, and turning puffer jackets into foodthemed kids’ fancy dress…
“The standard wasn’t too bad,” reckons judge Esme Young. “They were definitely enthusiastic! For the pattern challenge, they all made stockings that were very them. Hammed used fabrics from his African heritage: I like that you can express who you are through what you make. And all the fancy dress costumes they made for the transformation challenge were hilarious!”
