Vengeful Ruby shows the Dales just how much of a loose cannon she can be this week – by dramatically exposing Caleb’s affair with Tracy at Tom and Belle’s wedding reception!
The scorned wife serves up the ultimate revenge after putting together the pieces of her husband’s betrayal, and lets rip in front of their shocked friends and relatives…
“It’s fair to say that the entire congregation is gobsmacked,” gasps our Emmerdale insider. “It’s been such a happy day watching Tom and Belle tie the knot, only for Ruby to demolish the celebrations like a human wrecking ball. And it goes without saying that guilty Caleb and Tracy are utterly mortified!”
Following Tracy’s difficult decision to end her marriage, it was only a matter of time before the truth of her fling came tumbling out. She called it quits with Caleb once Ruby appeared on the scene, but that did nothing to save things with Nate after Tracy deduced that she simply doesn’t love her husband anymore.
Devastated Nate left the family home and, after ironically winding up at Caleb’s, voiced his concerns that he suspected Tracy of an affair – setting Ruby on a mission to track down the mystery lover! And it doesn’t take much for Caleb’s canny missus to join the dots…
“Ruby witnesses him and Tracy sharing a heated discussion,” explains our source. “It’s not a huge red flag to just anyone going about their business in the village, but people don’t know Caleb quite like Ruby does. Their dysfunctional marriage is littered with betrayal, and she just knows in her heart that he’s been at it again.”
