Unable to control his devastation this week, Aaron erupts in violence – and attacks a stranger!
Suffering after the loss of husband David, the widower struggles with his emotions. As life becomes unbearable, Aaron makes a decision that shatters his family…
“Aaron can’t live without David,” declares our Neighbours insider. “As well as sadness, his husband’s death has left Aaron with unresolved anger. He can’t find peace.”
Initially Aaron does a good job of hiding his emotions, spending time alone to grieve. However, when Aaron spots a damaged portrait of Paul in the Lassiters complex, his disgust towards his father-inlaw, witnessed by Cara, leaves her wondering if it was Aaron who vandalised the picture.
Later, a burst of Aaron’s emotion emerges as he snaps, confronting a local gang member and attacking him. Imagining Eden in the young man’s place, Aaron’s frustration boils over and he throws the troublemaker to the ground. In the nick of time, Andrew arrives and pulls Aaron off gang leader Slade. Calm Andrew attempts to reason with Aaron, but he won’t listen.
At home, the tormented dad shirks his responsibilities and leaves Nicolette and Jane to look after Isla. Also heartbroken over David, Nicolette can’t stay silent any longer and gives Aaron some home truths…
