BELLE’S BOMBSHELL ABOUT PRISON LIFE SENDS THE TEENAGER SPIRALLING…
Angelica is petrified over what her future might hold this week – after Belle reveals the terrifying realities of life for a young person in prison.
Following Angel’s guilty plea for causing Heath’s death by dangerous driving, the Kings have been informed the teen is set to receive a custodial sentence as punishment. But as the family try to make the most of what little time they have left together, Angel is desperate to find out more about what lies ahead.
Belle tries to support the teen by sharing her own experience of being in a Secure Children’s Home. Her words are of little comfort to anxious Angel, though – in fact, they end up making matters a whole lot worse!
“This is the moment reality sinks in for Angelica – she’s going to prison, and not even her parents can protect her,” shares our Dales insider. “Belle is upfront about what it’s like to be an adolescent inmate, and the kind of unpleasant characters she may encounter along the way. It puts the fear of god into Angel.”
However, the last thing Belle wants to do is scare the poor lass. In fact, it’s her controlling husband Tom who puts her up for the chat in the first place, and is adamant she should help his niece.
Belle is rightly hesitant about sharing her truth with Angel, but when Tom starts guilt-tripping her, she concludes that it’s her duty to support someone facing the same thing that she went through.
“Once again, Belle feels coerced into doing something she’s not exactly comfortable with just to please Tom,” reveals our sneak. “During her frank exchange with Angelica, Belle tells her about the effects prison had on her mental wellbeing, although unsurprisingly this is the last thing she wants
