CAN CASH LOCATE HIS MISSING GIRLFRIEND BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE?
Eden’s horrifying hostage drama takes a deadly turn this week, as her dangerous captors threaten to silence her forever!
Last week ended with Eden being attacked and kidnapped by brothers Wes and Mickey after she interrupted them digging a grave for Remi, who they’d accidentally hit with their car. This week picks up with Cash calling the cops after realising his girlfriend is missing, kicking off a massive search – meanwhile, bound and gagged Eden regains consciousness to make a grisly discovery…
“Eden rolls over to find the body of her best mate, Remi, who’s seemingly dead!” reveals Stephanie Panozzo, who plays the terrified musician. “She has no idea who these two guys are, but gathers pretty quickly from their conversation that they want to get rid of her.”
The brothers drive their hostages to an abandoned house where Wes orders Mickey to dispose of the ‘dead guy’. But when he opens the boot to retrieve the corpse, he finds that Remi is in fact still alive! Eden rushes to her critically ill friend’s aid and appeals to Mickey to get him urgent medical help. “Eden can see that Wes is the domineering character while Mickey is a bit more timid,” shares Stephanie. “He doesn’t really want to go along with Wes’ plans, so Eden takes that opportunity to try to reach out to Mickey and convince him to get Remi to hospital. He’s dying, and she’s desperate to save him.” As menacing Wes makes clear his murderous intent, Mickey’s conscience finally kicks in and he finds the courage to stand up to his brother. The pair reach an agreement – Mickey can take Remi to hospital, but Eden has to stay where she is.
Forced to say a tearful farewell to her bestie, Eden sneakily slips her bracelet into Remi’s jacket pocket – hoping it’ll be discovered and provide a clue that will lead Cash and the cops to her.
“This is Eden acting out of sheer desperation,” shares Stephanie. “She hopes that if Mickey does the right thing by taking Remi to hospital then someone will find the bracelet, put two and two together and eventually work out where she’s being held.”
