While Di treats herself to her daily drink, Rose has something on her mind. The schoolgirl questions why lodger Kitty has some ID with a different name on it, and Kitty explains that while you’re transitioning, people often try out different names until settling on one they feel suits them best.
Curious Rose then quizzes Kitty about her past, prompting heartbreaking revelations from Kitty about being rejected by her father for being trans. Sensing Rose is troubled, Kitty encourages her to open up. Eventually, Rose admits that she has started to question her gender identity…
