Proud mum Gemma loses her temper with Linda again this week, when the generous gran offers to pay for Joseph to attend a fancy private school!
Fuming that Linda is treating Joseph unfairly compared to the other children, Gemma refuses to even consider Oakhill School. However, will anyone be able to persuade her that Linda’s offer is too good to throw away?
“Gemma’s hatred for Linda is clouding her judgement,” declares our Corrie sneak.
“Her stubbornness stops her seeing what an amazing opportunity this would be for Joseph. Although, deep down, Gemma just wants the best for her kids…”
Money is always a sore subject when it comes to Gemma, as the mum-offive worries that Joseph’s grandmother will use her wealth to control them. Despite Gemma’s mistrust, Linda has good intentions, especially concerning Joseph.
The topic of private school comes up when Linda eyes Joseph’s schoolwork and mentions to Chesney that the young lad might be better off at Oakhill, where the classes are smaller and he’d get more support. Aware of how much this type of school costs, Chesney can’t believe it when Linda offers to pay the fees…
However, when Gemma finds out about Linda’s proposal, she furiously stuffs the school brochure in a drawer and demands Chesney tell Linda to stay out of their family’s business!
