Neighbours hit 9,000 episodes this week, an achievement I thought might never happen – and what a fun episode! Not only did Paul realise he needs to change, but there was a recap of all his evil deeds and brilliant tonguein-cheek references to past villains. Loved it!
GET GADDAS IN!
With Corrie’s DS Lisa Swain set to become a regular character, I’d love to see Dr Gaddas be given more screen time, too. She’s appeared on the cobbles for almost 10 years now, yet all we really know about her is that she has a wife and a son. I think she and Yasmeen would make good friends.
She’d be a great addition! But moving on to the Street might turn her quiet life upside down…

Look, I love Emmerdale’s Mary as much as the next person, but this storyline with her and Suzy is making me cringe! Suzy might
be beautiful and also into women, but she must be about 30 years younger than Mary. Love is love but isn’t that age gap a bit much? It would be like Bear and Leyla falling in love!
When you put it like that… But Mary’s pain is a hard watch!
TEEN TROUBLE
I’m really glad EastEnders are telling a story about young men and their struggle with ‘looking good’ for the sake of likes on the internet. I see a lot of my grandson in Denzel, and his obsession with influencers and protein shakes. Why can’t the boy see he’s a handsome lad with a beautiful girlfriend and a loving family?
Poor Denzel’s not seeing reality – it’ll take a wake-up call!

I loved Misbah and Zain’s spontaneous wedding in Hollyoaks a few years back, they made such a sweet couple, but now they’re a bit stale. Misbah could do better than boring Zain, no wonder she’d have preferred to go to her works’ do with Sharon!
