Tom’s vicious crusade to rule over Belle’s life continues this week, as he tries to ruin the first day of her new job!
Resentful that his wife wants to prioritise a career over having children, Tom sets out to destroy Belle’s prospects. How far will he go to make her life a misery? “Tom can’t stand to see Belle successful!” gasps our village spy. “He wants to keep Belle in line and under his control. As the week begins, Tom broods over Belle’s decision to postpone having children until she’s achieved her career goals. Furious that she’s choosing work over starting a family with him, Tom lashes out at Belle and wallows in his foul mood.
Later that day, Suzy’s baffled to see Belle working on the reception at the vets when she had told Tom that Belle was welcome to work at Take A Vow. Suzy mentions the job offer to oblivious Belle, but the new bride quickly covers for her lying husband, pretending he’d passed on the message and it slipped her mind.
