Avani turns matchmaker this week, having seen sparks fly between her mum and dad – and meddles in Priya’s love life!
Realising Ravi is jealous of Priya’s new interest in Martin, the troublemaking teenager decides to stir the pot and wreck her mum’s date. But is Avani right – are her mum and dad still attracted to each other after all these years?
“The chemistry between Priya and Ravi is undeniable!” reveals our Walford spy. “Avani would love to see her parents reunited – but is this a perfect match, or a recipe for disaster?”
At the beginning of the week, Avani bunks off school to start scheming, knowing both her parents will come looking for her. Priya’s flirty interaction with Martin is interrupted by a text from the school, and they go searching for her daughter.
Eventually they find the teenager hanging around the playground, and Avani smirks when she sees how bothered Ravi is by Martin. She later reveals her masterplan to Nugget – she wants their mum and dad back together!
When Martin later asks Priya out on a date, Avani puts her scheme into action. She lies to her dad that Priya is ill, laying it on thick so she knows he’ll step in. Avani is therefore delighted when both Martin and Ravi arrive at No 41 at exactly the same time, looking very confused…
