Daisy’s left with some awkward questions to answer this week – after Ryan thanks her mum for the money she invested in the Rovers!
Daisy’s understandably on edge when Christina rocks up at the pub looking for a place to stay, and tries her best to get rid of her pronto. Yet Ryan can’t understand why Daisy wouldn’t be more welcoming to her mother, especially after Christina gave her and Jenny such a large investment to buy back their beloved boozer…
“This is Daisy’s worst nightmare – the last thing she wants is for her mum to get wind of this fictional loan!” gasps our cobbles insider.

Daisy was forced to think on her feet when Carla started to ask difficult questions about Daisy being a secret partner in the pub. The truth is that she and Jenny used the dodgy cash Stephen stole from Carla to save the Rovers, but the last thing they want is for their actions to be uncovered.
Since Carla bought the lie about Christina’s investment, Daisy believes they’re in the clear. So when Christina texts her daughter to say that she’s coming to stay at the Rovers for two weeks, both Daisy and Jenny are horrified!
