Tracy announces she’s leaving the cobbles this week, after Steve’s bid to save their marriage ends in disaster.
But Tommy also wants Tracy to give him another chance, forcing Steve to stoop to deep depths to get his girl…
“Steve is miserable without Tracy,” begins our Corrie insider. “With Tommy off to coach a football team in Spain, it’s the perfect opportunity for Steve to woo his wife into a reconciliation. However, Tommy has poured his heart out to his ex-lover in a letter asking her to accompany him abroad – except Tracy doesn’t know because Steve is the only person who’s seen it!”
Sly Steve nabbed the note as soon as his former footie hero shoved it through the letterbox at No.1, and hides it so Tracy isn’t tempted to choose Tommy over her feckless hubby. It’s a risky move, and Steve soon realises giving Tracy the letter is the right thing to do.
Unbeknown to him, Tracy is moaning to Amy at the bistro that she misses having a man in her life and isn’t relishing the thought of being single. Later, Tracy tracks down Steve and it’s clear she wants to talk. Just as Steve sticks his hand in his pocket to retrieve the hidden letter, he’s stunned as Tracy declares she’s sorry for cheating and she wants them to get back together!
