The moment that Linda, Denise, Kathy, Stacey, Suki and Sharon have all been dreading plays out in toe-curling fashion this week, after the café floor suddenly caves in and exposes Keanu’s dead body – just in time for Easter!
Sharon finally returns to face her fellow conspirators as all hell breaks loose – while Jack catches Denise and Stacey hovering over Keanu’s grave with a shovel! The copper’s discovery – not to mention the tragic news that awaits Keanu’s crushed sister Bernie – paves the way for an unmissable week of Walford drama…
“These are scenes that have lived rent-free in the ladies’ worst nightmares ever since Linda stabbed Keanu at Christmas and changed their lives forever,” sighs our EastEnders insider. “However, the Walford locals finding out that missing Keanu was in fact murdered and buried beneath the café is set to become a crushing reality – and there’s no waking up from the terror…”
Sharon vs Linda!
The timing of Sharon’s homecoming couldn’t be more catastrophic, though for viewers anticipating her reunion with the five women she left behind, the moment certainly doesn’t disappoint! For Linda especially – who’s been drinking herself silly, worried that Sharon has disowned her for killing Keanu – the chance to confront the situation is long overdue.
“Linda’s nursing yet another hangover when Sharon turns up at the Vic,” reports our spy. “She’s certain that her best friend resents her for Keanu’s death, even though Linda did what she did while defending Sharon’s life. The pair have much to discuss, though the conversation snowballs once Sharon learns the murder weapon is missing!”
The heat is on!
After Linda’s also forced to confess that Johnny is in on the conspiracy, Sharon calls a crisis meeting for The Six in the barrel store. The atmosphere is tense to say the least, though that’s nothing compared to the heart-stopping moment that sees Linda suddenly reunited with the missing meat thermometer!
“Viewers will have to tune in to see how the fork winds up back in Linda’s possession,” grins our mole. “The colour drains from her face when she sees it, though it’s a relief to know that it’s not fallen into the wrong hands.”
