DRAMA QUEENS | ITVBe WEDNESDAY

Corrie’s Lucy Fallon and Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter spill the tea on new reality TV show Drama Queens, taking a peek into the lives of our favourite soap stars…

Ever fancied a glimpse into the real lives of your favourite soap sirens? Well, now’s your chance with this new series, giving you an exclusive sneak peek at what goes on when the cameras aren’t rolling for some of the nation’s favourite soap queens! Stars from Corrie, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks will open their homes, allowing cameras to capture their real-world antics as they juggle soap schedules with their family lives.

We sit down with Corrie’s Lucy Fallon – who plays Bethany – and Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter (Theresa) to find out more about the show…

Hi both! What made you want to get involved in this show?

Lucy I made a promise to myself to do more things that are out of my comfort zone, so once I was approached to do the show it was a quick “Yes” from me. I found it an interesting concept.

What’s funny is you watch Theresa on screen and she has a crazy life, then you’ll watch this and see that my real life is chaos too! There’s a baby and a big Doberman dog…

There are a few scenes where I’m like, “Why aren’t you doing it right?” I’m probably a bit mean to her! Ollie [Jorgie’s other half] is very funny as well because he’s just his normal self, which is good. I’m a bit more giddy when the camera is on me!

You both have very young children (Lucy’s son Sonny is 14 months, while Jorgie’s son Forrest is 16 months). Was it intimidating having cameras around when you’re both new to motherhood?

Jorgie Not really, you just learn to ignore the cameras and do what you need to do with the baby. Forrest will be off playing, or I’ll be feeding him, and that’s just normal life.

You don’t care about the cameras when you’re running after your child!

Lucy It was a bit strange the first time the camera crew came to film. All of the footage i
