Daisy’s dodgy dealing over the purchase of the Rovers comes back to haunt her big time this week, as her nearest and dearest turn their back on her – including boyfriend Ryan!
“Jenny confessing to Carla where the money came from lit the blue touchpaper, and now Daisy is caught in the fireworks!” reveals our Corrie insider. “She initially hopes she can style it out when she arrives at the Rovers for work as normal, but Jenny tells her to sling her hook – and she’s not the only one…”
Daisy’s shame comes after she used the money Stephen embezzled from Underworld to buy the Rovers. Of course, by rights the money should be Carla’s, but Daisy persuaded Jenny that once the Rovers was up and running, they’d pay her back.
However, now Carla is no longer in the dark, she’s furious at Daisy’s actions and has sacked her from the pub.
Carla might not be the legal owner, but she now regards herself as the rightful one!
